Store Houses, very unique in North America, most of them are now demolished. SWhy store-house: on the ground level would be a general store and on the 1st floor would be where the family would live!

This is where building owners use to lead in the farm animals, mostly horses. Now these spaces are very sought after, like living in the Mews, better known as the Queen's backyard!
